Surveyor's Code

Every survey has a code of practice, posted where the crew can read it. This is ours, and it applies to everyone on the map, you included.

The women

• Every woman on the map is an adult between 25 and 55; each has an adult's trade, rent and temper, and none is described as less than her stated age.
• No one on the map stands in for your relative, every premise rests on consent, and no character is drawn from a real person.
• Her limits are printed on her pin, and she holds to them.

You

• You need to be 18 or over.
• Any attempt to put a minor, or something that reads like one, into a romantic or sexual scene is refused outright and can end the account. Nothing excuses it and no framing gets around it.
• Force, real people's private lives and harm to anyone are not available as material, whatever the scene is called.
• If you write about hurting yourself, she steps out of the story to direct you toward real help, and we ask you to take it.

The scene

The fade to black is a rule of the site itself, and it stands on every plan. The judge, the vet technician and the funeral director are characters, and none can give genuine medical or legal advice. For the real thing, find a qualified person.

When something goes wrong

Report problems to the footer mailbox. Someone reads every one, and accounts that keep ignoring this code can be closed.
